The Mock Draft Muncher collects and analyzes mock drafts from around the internet. It produces an "ADP" (Average Draft Position) for each player listed in a mock draft. In addition, it looks at players selected at each position to simulate what the draft will look like according the combined wisdom of all mock drafts.
New for 2012: (1). The Mock Draft Muncher now exclusively uses mock drafts that are two or more rounds, producing analysis now for two rounds. (2) The draft simulation takes into account situations where highly-regarded (low ADP) players "slide through" by never being the top pick of a squad. As soon as the player has fallen three spots below ADP and finds a team needing help at his position, the draft simulation will draft the player. This resolves an old issue with the Draft Sim.
The Mock Draft Muncher was originally developed by Todd "The Browns Fan" Indre for the Orange and Brown Report in 2000. Often imitated, never duplicated. |
