Celtics fans are some of the most passionate in all of sports. Not saying anything shocking there. But I’ve also found them, over time, to be among the sensible in sports. While some fan bases just rip everything they don’t want to believe, the vast majority of those living in New England, to me, have always come across as willing to actually discuss things that may not work in their favor.
Maybe it’s the chowder, I don’t know. But it’s always been cool, and I’ve always enjoyed interacting with them.
So it’s only fair that they be heard. In my mind, there’s no place better to listen to them than the outstanding blog, fittingly called, CelticsBlog.com. It’s where I go when I want to get the pulse of what’s going on with the C’s and how their fans feel about it.
Anyway, earlier on FOX Sports Ohio, I mentioned a rumored trade involving the Cavs and Celtics that would send the Cavs’ two second-round draft picks (Nos. 31 and 33 overall) to the Celtics for forward Paul Pierce. As I wrote earlier, I still have been unable to confirm if such discussions are actually taking place. But now that they’re kinda out there … it’s an enjoyable topic for fans to discuss. Fans, casual and die-hard, love trade rumors.
(Then again, Celtics fans already have on their plate with this whole Celtics-Clippers-Doc Rivers-Kevin Garnett thing.)
But when it comes to the latest on the Cavs and Celtics, here’s what the ever-educated C’s fan base is saying.
I encourage you to take a look.
