Akron’s Zeke Marshall and Ohio’s D.J. Cooper are among the 25 finalists for the fourth-annual Lou Henson award, given to college basketball’s top mid-major player.

Online fan voting will count for one-third of the final vote.
The 7-foot Marshall is having his best season for an Akron team that’s won 18 straight games. Cooper, who helped push Ohio to the Sweet 16 last year, is on the verge of becoming the first player in Div. I college basketball history to record 2,000 points, 1,000 assists, 500 rebounds and 300 steals.
