Kyrie Irving is the Cavaliers’ resident All-Star, the Big Man In Cleveland in the post-LeBron James era.
Although there are constant rumblings about James someday returning to the Cavs, Irving said he hasn’t given the idea much thought.
James, coming off his first title in Miami, can opt out of his contract in 2014. Speculation says he will consider returning to the Cavs.
“The potential is endless if it ever did happen,” Irving said prior to the Cavs’ loss to Minnesota on Monday. “Obviously, I’d be 22 and still a young guy.”
Irving is in his second season after winning Rookie of the Year honors.
