Charge sign Dominique Johnson

The Canton Charge have acquired guard Dominique Johnson from the D-League’s available player pool, team officials announced Tuesday.

Johnson has two years of D-League experience, both with the Texas Legends. He comes to the Charge with a career scoring average of 12.7 points per game. Prior to his D-League career, Johnson played at NCAA Division II Azusa Pacific, where he averaged 17.2 points on 49-percent shooting.

The Charge (1-4) visit Springfield on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
