Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters is listed as questionable for Monday’s game at Detroit after an MRI confirmed he has a sprained left ankle.
Waiters suffered the injury in the second overtime in the Cavs’ double-OT loss Saturday vs. visiting Portland.
X-rays following the game were negative. Waiters then had a follow-up MRI at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health, confirming the sprain.
Waiters is averaging 15.2 points per game, including 20.5 points per game in the Cavs’ four wins.
