CANTON – The Canton Charge have waived center Jordan Eglseder and guard Marcus Simmons, according to a team press release.

Eglseder is a 7-foot-1 center from Northern Iowa. The Charge selected him in the seventh round (109th overall) of the D-League draft earlier this month. Simmons, a 6-6 guard, was acquired via trade with the Texas Legends on Nov. 5.

The Charge are the official D-League affiliate of the Cavaliers, and host the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in an exhibition game Saturday at 3 p.m. The game is open only to season-ticket holders.

The Charge’s roster now stands at 14. It must be reduced to 10 by Wednesday.
