Charge trade for Baudinet

CANTON – The Cavaliers’ D-Leage affiliate has made a trade in the hours leading up to tonight’s D-League draft.

On Friday, the Canton Charge announced they’ve obtained Thomas Baudinet, a 6-foot-3 guard, from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. In return, the Charge sent the Mad Ants their third-round pick.

Baudinet averaged 6.8 points on 43-percent shooting in 18 games last season with Fort Wayne. He played in 19 games before that with Iowa. The Charge have eight picks in tonight’s draft, and will host a draft party at the Edgewood Community Center in Canton. The D-League draft begins at 7 p.m.
