Last week, I suggested that if the Blue Jackets wanted former St. Louis Blues president John Davidson for the front office on Nationwide Boulevard, they should figure out a way – any way – to get to “Yes.”

Based off what I’m hearing, the Blue Jackets are indeed interested in Davidson.  They spent all weekend wooing J.D. here in Columbus.

The great remaining question is whether Davidson was offered a contract…and, if he was, how it was received.  He did return to St. Louis an unsigned man after all.

Thus, we wait…and hope.
