Kryie Irving challenges Kobe Bryant to game of one-on-one for $50,000

This video was shot at the U.S. Olympic practices, where Cavs guard Kyrie Irving challenged Kobe Bryant to a game of one-on-one for $50,000, with the money going to charity. There are several highlights in the banter … including:

Bryant: “Are you crazy? Are you crazy?”

Irving: “You have to guard. You have to guard. You’re not gonna lock me up.”

And …

Irivng: “You think you’re talking to a high school kid.”

Bryant: “You just came out of high school, kid.”

Bryant concludes by calling the challenge “easy money.” Irving does not back down.

For some reason it’s kind of enjoyable to see the Cavs guard acting this way among the game’s elite.
