Notes and Observations:

Let’s start with the Pacers, who are two games ahead of Boston for the third-best record in the East. … While the Celtics would get the No. 3 seed by winning their division, the Pacers would still own home-court if they met in the playoffs. … This is the first two games in a row between the teams. They play again Friday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. … Pacers have won seven of last 10; Cavs have lost eight of 10, but won two of past three. … It’s been The Lester Hudson Show in Cleveland. In the last three games, the 6-foot-3 guard is averaging 24.7 points, 5.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds. … Since April 1, Hudson’s 19.0 ppg leads the NBA in scoring off the bench. … Not bad for a guy who just signed his second 10-day contract. … The Pacers will be a stiffer challenge for Hudson, of course. They’re a hungry, physical playoff team. … Pacers PG Darren Collison (groin) is a game-time decision. … This is the second of a seven-games-in-nine-days stretch for Cavs. … In the past three games, Jamison is averaging 25.3 points on 50-percent shooting.
